A New Day Has Come

I'm happily singing this song by Celine Dion this morning because I knew Derrick and I had gone through our hardest time in the school and could resume to work on the project from today on.

We're working at full speed on the translation of the game. We've finished the script of the main story line and went on to some branches of the game, and a great part of the magic/item names has been finished.

We're expecting to release the game on May 6th or 7th, and a video clip of the game may be released on 1st. If there's any new download for you, I'll let you know here in advance. So please keep an eye on our pages for the latest news.

Everything Delayed

The translation work has been delayed for one week, as both of us were busy with something else.

Progress Report

Now Li Xiaoyao's going to learn some sword technique from Drunk Wanderer (Jiu Jian Xian) now. It is the part that has been translated in this week.

The trial part of the game will surely be done within the next week.

And the later work is on the magics and item names of the game.It would take us a long time.

But I'm sure that the May release will not be delayed!

Progress Report

After 2 months' hard working, I now can announce proudly that all the tools related to the project are perfectly completed. This set of tools include:

1. Graphics unpacking/packing tool by Jacky
2. Item/magic names editing tool by Googol
3. EXE strings editing tool by Googol and Jacky
4. Script editing tool by Derrick

Now a May release can be expected on time. I'll post report here twice a week to inform all of you the progress of tranlation.

The trial version's story is from Li Xiaoyao's dream to Zhao Ling'er's being saved by Doctor Han.

A Good News; A Bad News

The good news is that Derrick's script tool is finished, and works perfectly well. But a bad news is immediately after that - new pointers that cannot be handled by us are found after using his tool.

The new pointers are hidden in the jump expression in the game script. They're not easy to be found, or even to be changed. We're looking for a solution for it. If it cannot be found within a week, I think the May release will be delayed.
