Going to Start the Preparation for Full Game

The demo is well received — although it wasn’t wide spreaded in the English speaking countries. We’re all very glad that most players like this translation. And as in most feedbacks the full game is expected, we’ll continue to translate the rest part soon.

The bugs caused by the script editor tired all the members of the test team. And in the test of the full game, I don’t think we can play through the game for decades of times because it would take too much time and energy and would be unbearable for anyone. So the first things I’ll have to do is rewrite a new script editor. It may take me one month to complete it.

And if you want anything in the full game, please tell me here.

Hope Remains

We’re not dead. The project is still alive.
As most parts of the transaltio in demo are about to complete, I’m sure you’ll get some good news within a week.

Although the story in the demo is short, but it’s really a systematic project for us to complete all these.

So, please wait for us a little longer.

Forum Opened for Testing

I’m really really sorry that the release of the demo is delayed again, and even I have no idea about when the time will come this time. We have problem dealing with the magic and item names in the game. There’re too many of them, and the game reserves too limited space for us. We spend most of our time on it but “they seem to be endless” ( -Derrick).

The only good news is that I created a forum of the game (in English). And it’s now opened to the public for testing. I don’t expect many visitors before the release of the demo, but you can go and have a look at it if you’re interested in it.

Demo Version Delayed!

I’m sorry to say that the release of the demo version, which is supposed to be out on May 10th, will be delayed to 15th or later. And I’m sorry again this is because of my tour to Qinhuangdao.

Qinhuangdao is a city in Heibei Province, China. It’s in proximity to the Bohai Bay and leans on Mount Yanshan. So I can visit both the East China Sea  and the starting part of Great Wall in the city.

The sea there gave me a totally different view from what I’ve known when I lived in the southern part of China, because it has a much longer coastline than other seashore cities I’ve been to. It felt great when I stood high to watch the waves striking the sand beach along the coastline.

And the Great Wall there is special, too. You can visit the part of the Great Wall where it’s connected to the sea. The place is called Ancient Dragon’s Head (Laolongtou). That’s because if you consider the Great Wall a huge dragon across China, this part is its head to drink the sea water. If you walk forwards along the walls you’ll find the first fortress of Great Wall, named No. 1 Pass Under Heaven. You can see how a complete defending system was build in ancient China. If you go on walking along Great Wall from this the fortress, you can find some parts of the walls broken. There exists no high walls but only some bricks placed dispersedly. They’re called the broken walls or the wild walls. They were too dangerous to climb so I gave up the idea to walk on them.

I enjoyed the tour very much indeed. Well, back to the project, I’ll have to work harder to finish the demo as soon as possible. I think it can be finished on time.

Paleng.blog.com Recovered

When I visit the former base of my project that was closed for exceeding the bandwidth today, I am surprised to see it opened for me again.I don’t even know the reason why it was closed and reopen.

But anyhow, I just want to stay in blog.com, since I think more information is in the sites and I don’t want to waste the tiem to transfer them around.

The situation now is, I have two blog for my project, one as main site and another for backup. I’ll keep the two upgraded at the same time. And I have a plan to pay to the blog.com to get a more stable serice. The major problem is, it troubles me a lot to pay with my international VISA card, especially in China. But I’ll still try.

A New Day Has Come

I’m happily singing this song by Celine Dion this morning because I knew Derrick and I had gone through our hardest time in the school and could resume to work on the project from today on.

We’re working at full speed on the translation of the game. We’ve finished the script of the main story line and went on to some branches of the game, and a great part of the magic/item names has been finished.

We’re expecting to release the game on May 6th or 7th, and a video clip of the game may be released on 1st. If there’s any new download for you, I’ll let you know here in advance. So please keep an eye on our pages for the latest news.
